Bogács is situated in the valley of brooks Hór and Szoros, at the southern foot of the Bükk Mountain in Hungary. The 13th century church, which was rebuilt in Gothic style and consecrated in the honour of St. Márton, has excellent acoustics, it is the scene of organ and chamber concerts. The village, rich in natural sights and old places of memory, earned its national renown with the thermal water found in 1958, it has been medicinal water since 2001.
